    My wife and I live in Japan and we are thinking to purchase an RV like this when we retire in a few years. Would you remember what kind of gas millage you were getting with it? We are now beginning our research so clueless to the RV life.

    Welcome to New Zealand. Yes, pak n save os the best place to shop and try to save some dollars as everything is so expensive here , where you camped on your 1st night which is Little Waikawau on the Firth of Thames, this is only 2hrs from our home . This is one place we love to go camping in our motorhome as well

    There is a cemetery connected to the "Indian Trail" (on north side of the ravine) that has Elizabeth Rothchild's grave. Her and her husband were on the Titanic. He died at sea, she survived and lived there in town until she died. Beautiful mausoleum.

    If you were to travel back to Wales with your parents would you instead rent one motor home where 4 adults and 2 kids could sleep and have your parents rent a care to get around the small roads?

      That’s a good idea! But it would be hard to find large enough motorhomes and cars to fit us all I think!

    The plane is a "MacDonald" Douglas airplane from the US. He helped designed alot of planes and jet fighting planes for the US airforce around the early,mid 60s

    I want to ask how to open the hood of the truck! What I know is that the truck head is usually opened forward when carrying out certain repairs on the truck, So my question is how do I open the hood of the truck? There is a bed section above the head of the truck. Can it be removed?

    Help me!!! We followed you to NZ and I can't thank you enough for the inspiration. We are planning our next rv trip but don't know where to go. We want to go back and follow your NZ2 trip, but maybe we should go to Italy. Or Spain? I am looking at your videos to decide (yes, it IS all about you guys) so where do you recommend??? Please help. Nz was our 1st rv trip so we are still new at it.

      Oh thank you so much! It so depends on what you're looking for. France was very camper friendly, so navigating around was great. Italy is amazing in every way. Spain we can't wait to go back to! The UK was very stressful to drive, so hold off on that one until you have more RV driving experience! :)

I appreciate the heads up with the UK! I'm trying so hard to not look at the NZ2 trip. That is where my heart is... I left it there in 2019.

    I love the fact that you guys allow your daughter to just "soak in the rain", if its Asian families most parents would definitely shelter them or get them to wear a raincoat? Maybe it would be good and polite to accept the gesture of kindness from the tea staff to offer the towel to dry your daughter, this is the Japanese hospitality. Just my two cents!

    Welsh Pembro0keshire people are nice people, and Wales is a great place for Americans to visit. Not far from you, there used to be a US Naval facility at Brawdy, part of the SOSUS spying network.

    About 2 months ago my family and I drove to Kentucky and the elevation made hikes a lot harder than here in Michigan. Would you say the elevation hinders you guys in any way? It doesn’t seem like it in the videos, but I figured I’d ask. 😧😅

      Heath worked in Ann Arbor, but we also stayed with my great aunt in Grand Rapids. One day we will go back and hit up all the tourist spots up the lake and over to the UP!

I look up to you, and not to be excessive but kind of rely on you as I am COMPLETELY new at this. We still have to renovate our used RV but I have so much written down and highlighted for travel around the world!

    Lol i live in Wrexham and have driven those roads and worse in the snow, in a van and it was bad enough. I can’t imagine doing it in a motor home/RV

      They may have rentals available. We stayed in our motorhome but many campers brought their tents.

    Used to stop at Bourton on the Water on my way to uni in the midlands as I'm from near Bath. Pretty little place, think it’s pronounced 'Borton' rather than 'Berton' though :)

      Zigzags remind you not to park or overtake in that area around a pedestrian crossing. Search for the "highway code" www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code/waiting-and-parking-238-to-252

    Despite having been to England several times, I still have not gone to Stonehenge. My wife has and her pretty emphatic opinion is, "not worth it." I'll get there eventually but only if I am driving nearby for some other reason to make it a short detour. Those looking for a nice day trip from London would probably find a train-based day trip to Oxford for a walking tour to be much more worthwhile. I have done that and it was a great day indeed.

      If it’s convenient, it’s an interesting spot. But you can see it all for free from a nearby road versus however much we paid and we wish we had just done that!
